Steve Jobs
By: Walter Isaacson (Part 2)
Independent Reading

Finally! I finished one of the most interesting books I've read (based on my hobby)! Although it has 1096 pages, it's awesome! If you look at my older posts in this blog I've already made a post from the first 500 pages from this book. It was interesting, the first half of these book talked more about the life of Steve Jobs in Silicon Valley and his personal experiences. This last 576 pages (20 pages of bibliography, acknowledgments, and interviews), were more focused on how the company that we know in this days started with Steve Wozniak (his friend) and Steve in a garage with the Apple 1. This last part is basically a story and experiences of how apple started.

Steve Jobs was just a visionary when he started. He didn't knew anything from programming, neither from computer engineering. But, he finally met the men that really started everything, his name was Steve Wozniak. He was the engineer, programmer and the mind of the company. After they made the Apple 1, they hired a new men, the CEO of Pepsi cola at the moment. They new man in the company then lead to the expel of the one that created the company, Steve Jobs.

¿Can you just believe whats written on the image at the left side of your monitor!? this phrase, "Mark Zuckerberg 'CEO/Founder of facebook' bought Whatsapp for $19 BILLION DOLLARS!!!" still doesn´t fit in my mind. Imagine all of that money in just a mobile device app!? Every time I read the phrase, every time I analyze it in detail I say to my self, "whats next? if they paid all of that money for this program is because something big is to come", what would that "something" going to be?...

With the current 450 million whatsapp users, Zuckerberg estimates that for the next year it will be getting almost the same amount of users as facebook. Almost all Smartphones on the market have Whatsapp and facebook abailable on their built in software. This texting app is growing so fast that almost all smartphone users have it installed on it. Soon Facebook will unify all of their apps and make the best Social network app in the world.

With all of these apps and devices from these day... I think this is just the beggining of the technology era.

First Class is awesome!

Airplane´s first class is a luxury. In the first class theres always something new happening. On the last summer on a flight to Miami, Fonseca, a colombian composer/singer appeared on the plane with his band at the cruising altitude. For example, last year Shakira appeared on a Bogotá - New York City flight. Also in first class theres always new furniture or commodities on the plane. For example, the newest aircraft in Avianca´s fleet, Airbus A-320 Neo, has a very cool furniture and entertainment system, the most amazing thing is that you could order gourmet food from you screen. First class is the best although I´ve flown just one time in it but still... It´s awesome! If you travel on it , you´ll be happy and would like to stay on the plane!

"Love should be blind to family differences".

I think love is only when a man and a women like to each other. When I refer to "ONLY" men and woman, means that no one else should be involved. I think that when a family chooses a couple for their son or daughter is a lack of disrespect; I think they shouldn´t think for their sons, I think each individual should think for themselves. When each family is different from one to another, it doesn’t matter. If each one of the couple decided or got unified, is because they accept each ones treats or differences. E.g. My family is a family of dogs; the girl I love is from a cat family; both of our families do not get along or doesn´t like to each other and are forcing each of us not to see never again. With this example I mean that families should get in their sons problems if their doing it is because they know the cause an d effect of their actions. I think this same phrase or quote should apply to the novel of Romeo and Juliet. I will expect this type of things to happen in the book. Although we haven´t started reading Romeo and Juliet I think it will be a very good book, still if it´s written in dialogue form.
